You bet! With 30+ combined years of exploring the Gunnison Valley, we’ve discovered some hidden gems and not-so-hidden favorite photo spots. We’ll create your experience based on your questionnaire responses, and we’ll help you find the perfect location for your adventure.
Duh, you must know by now that we are pet-obsessed! As long as wherever we’re going is pet-friendly, you are welcome to bring your furry friend along. Let us know ahead of time so we can help you prepare.
While weather is unpredictable and extreme at times, we will always try to continue the outdoor adventure as long as everyone can remain safe. Depending on the hourly forecast, we may suggest an alternative location or time to meet. Just remember that rain often leads to rainbows, and snowflakes often look dreamy in photos!
We will advise you on how to prepare and what to wear. Trust us to give you real-time feedback about what’s working for the camera and what need adjustment. We also sometimes encourage candid moments by using action prompts. We’ll give you ideas on how to interact in front of the camera so that you’re still fully present while feeling confident and comfortable.
Pro Tip: Show off your personality! Planning an activity for your session is a fun way to incorporate your interests while also keeping you in the moment.
We define this in simple terms: If it’s just the two of you (& maybe your pup!) plus up to 30 people, then you can book our adventure elopement packages. If you’re having more than 30 people total be a part of your day and photography coverage, it’s an intimate wedding.
We love to travel! We offer all-inclusive travel in Colorado for +$500 and anywhere in the world for $5000. Travel to Costa Rica (our tropical happy place) is $2500. You can find more information in our pricing guides, just ask!
Absolutely! We provide extra assistance in coordinating the details for your perfect proposal moments. We also offer services in transporting florals or signs that will make your surprise extra special. Each experience is unique, and we love helping you bring your vision to life.
We’ll help with your timeline, location scouting, and experience recommendations. We don’t offer full planning services and we can’t hire vendors on your behalf. We are happy to help you find the resources you need for any permitting and make suggestions for other vendors to consider hiring. We can give you our feedback on fun activities that you can do together to make your day extra special & memorable!
Every adventure is unique and we will help you plan the specifics of yours. Typically, plan for 45 minutes to an hour (or sometimes more, depending on how quickly you warm up to the camera) at each location.
- Proposals & Engagements: 1-3 hours
- Elopements: 4-12 hours
- Weddings: 6-12 hours
- Boudoir: 3-5 hours
We’ll send you a quick questionnaire, a customizable quote to accept, and a contract to sign. Save your date by paying 25% of your full package amount for weddings & elopements or 50% for engagements, proposals, & boudoir as a reservation retainer.
Yes. Once your date is reserved, you can always/at any time add on to your package for more hours or extra services and printed keepsakes. You may not downgrade your package once it is booked.
Final delivery depends on the type of experience that you book. We offer turnaround times between 4-12 weeks. The exact number of delivered images varies, but we’ll make sure you get all the best photographs from your day. Ask us about viewing full gallery examples!
Once we’ve processed your photographs, we’ll share them with you via an online gallery that can be private or shareable. You’ll be able to view, share, and directly download your digital photograph files. You can also design albums, create cards, and purchase beautiful print products through our professional lab that is connected to your online gallery.
Your digital photographs are included in your package. You have access to all of your final photos and rights to create personal prints. We guarantee the quality of our professional print lab, and we are happy to offer our expertise in helping you create any printed artwork from your images.
Maybe somewhere along the way of this journey someone told you that you want RAW files. We’re here to tell you the bad news and the good news. The bad news is that if we deliver RAW images to you, your computer likely won’t have the software to open or view these images. RAWs are meant for professional photographers (like us) to develop the images. It’s like asking for half-baked cake. The good news is that you can have your cake and eat it too! We’ll deliver high-resolution JPGs to you. Your computer will be able to open them, your eyes will be able to see them, and your heart will fall in love with them. The the only thing you need raw in your photographs: raw emotion.

Mountain Magic Media is absolutely amazing to work with.
