We’re a husband-and-wife Crested Butte engagement photography team with over 30 combined years exploring this valley. We know where the light lands in the late afternoon, which trails open early in the season, and which overlooks feel like they were built for a slow walk with someone you love.
We’ve also been on the other side of the camera. We know what it’s like to feel a little awkward, to not know what to do with your hands, to wonder if you’re doing it right. We’ve built our entire approach around making you feel confident and comfortable — through movement, conversation, and letting the session unfold like an afternoon you’d have planned from the start.

I am very particular on how I like my pictures and the pictures we got from our session were everything that we hoped for. They went before and scouted the locations, lighting and we just showed up and it was perfect! They made us feel so comfortable and the pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined!! We had our surprise sunrise proposal photo session on a mountain, then we had a family brunch which they captured and were able to take some great family portraits, followed by an evening photo session at sunset. They were absolutely incredible and thoughtful in the planning process, during the proposal, and throughout the entire day. They were such a blast to be around and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I love that they didn’t rush us during the sessions and they gave us helpful tips for some great candid-looking photos. They know all of the best spots with the best lighting, the most gorgeous times of day. As you can see, our photos turned out beautifully!!! We are so overjoyed with the entire experience from start to finish!! Also want to reiterate that they are just cool humans and we feel so lucky to have gotten to hang with them during our sessions.
