Hermit Lake provided a picturesque backdrop for Josh’s surprise proposal to McKenzie. With a bumpy 4×4 drive to the trailhead and a short hike to this spot, we knew it would be a great place to pop the question. Once she said, “Yes,” we circled around the lake to visit the private waterfall for the newly engaged couple to sip champagne. On our way out, we frolicked in the wildflowers!
